This week we have been celebrating Halloween in our High School.

During the week, we have been doing different activities related to Halloween inside the classroom, like watching videos, listening to songs, learning vocabulary and decorating the spooky Halloween Tree!

Students of 1st and 2nd of ESO have also taken part in a Pumpkin Carving Contest, and they voted for their favourite pumpkins.
All the winners have won some delicious sweets to have a tasty Halloween...and the first prize winners have won a shiny Jack-o'-lantern.

They were welcolmed by an English teacher from the company and she led the visit, giving all the explanations in English. It was a very nice experience. At the end of the visit, they were given a nice present: three boxes of wafers and ice cream cones!.-)

Visit from primary students.

Last Thursday, 8th of May 2014, the students from the 6th grade in Primary Education from the school Felicidad Bernabéu came to visit La Foia where they will be students next course.
They visited the classrooms, playgrounds, gym and saw the expositions, and the students and teachers at La Foia also told them about the subjects that they will be able to choose and study next course.
Our students from Practical English in 1st of ESO explained to the Felicidad Bernabéu students what they do in this subject.
They explained the different activities, projects and tasks that you can do if you choose the subject and they also showed some of these examples to their friends in Primary.
Very well done!
